I received word of the terrible news that afternoon, on Thursday Sept 20th,
Our friend Dan was an emergency contact, and had informed me that our friend/co-worker Joseph Dalcin suffered a traumatic work-related injury, no threat to loss of life, but a good possibility of loss of limb (arm).
Joe was rapidly transported to Winnipeg's Health Sciences Centre where proper surgical procedures could be administered.
Joe has a lot of love and support, and I know we all want to be able to do something for Joe and family, so myself, Dan, Sean, and several other Kenora friends wanted to help out with our friend.
I don't know anything about a specific goal, monetarily, but the goal is to eleviate any financial pressures on Joe and family, traveling, medical costs, and any other expenses in between...
Joseph Dalcin is a friend, co-worker, brother, son, and is loved very much by his family and friends in Hornepayne and Kenora. We love and support you, Joe!
