My name is Fatima, and I am raising funds for my younger brother, who is only 25 years old and was diagnosed with stage 1 rectal cancer at Dubai Hospital. We already lost our father to the same disease, and I have been doing everything I can as the only breadwinner to support his treatment.

With the help of the government hospital, he completed six cycles of chemotherapy. Sadly, his recent CT scan showed the tumor has not shrunk enough, and doctors say the only next step is urgent radiation therapy. This treatment is not available in government hospitals in the UAE and must be done privately at a cost of 153,808 AED for 25 sessions over 5 weeks. Because of the ongoing war in Sudan, we cannot travel there for care and must continue his treatment here.
