Family and friends are making a humble request for a great man who has done so much for so many. George Gant has been living with Multiple Sclerosis for much of his adult life. Yet despite that diagnosis he worked until retirement and actively served numerous civic roles helping those in need. Most hail him as a trailblazer and a mentor. His MS and diabetes are now taking a toll on the quality of his life. While his mind is sharp, his body is failing him. He is becoming a "quadraplegic"with one leg amputated and no significant use of his remaining limbs. But there is hope in a procedure that is not covered by his insurance...daily treatments in a hyperbaric chamber that helps with chronic wounds and improves mobility. It is expensive. His retirement funds are dwindling quickly as he pays for 24 hour care out of his own pocket.
