If you've never had the pleasure of meeting Haley she is the life of the party, the star of the show, the sparkle in any room she walks into. Her infectous smile is magnetic but it is her enormous heart that is her truest gift to anyone she meets. She is caring and generous to anyone she meets and genuinely puts others needs, desires and worries above her own. It's easy to see why her staff, friends and family love and cherish her deeply.
For 6 years now Haley has battled cancer. Despite a brief remission it has come back with a vengence in multiple areas of her body and is the toughest battle to date. Even in the face of overwhelming odds she continues to battle this disease with grace and incredible fortitude.
Haley works over 50+ a week as the General Manager of a pizza restaurant. Her job is her home away from home, her staff are her babies and everyday she comes in with a smile on her face and in spite of the terrible pain that cancer and her treatments cause she puts on the bravest face I know and works that line slinging pizzas showing her staff a level of commitment and dedication that is unmatched.
As the diagnoses keep coming in and the chemo treatments continue to intensify her biggest motivation is her 5 (almost 6) year old little boy. He is the reason she keeps up the fight and is so determined to be here for so many of his upcoming milestones.
As you can imagine these treatments and prescriptions that help Haley fight her cancers are so expensive it's borderline criminal. Each intravenous chemotherapy treatment is over half a months salary after insurance and these treatments need to be done twice monthly at a minimum, so you can see the dilemma. After depleting her entire life's savings while fighting these last 6 years she's reached a point where she has to choose between chemotherapy, her other prescriptions prescribed to help her with her treatments, and supporting her family. We could probably have a dissertation on the cruelty of the healthcare system but none of that helps her; unfortunately yet graciously we are asking for your help. Any tiny amount helps Haley whether it helps her with a round of chemo or helps her pay for her nausea medication I know for certain she would be grateful for simply the extra prayers.
Thank you all! We love Haley and want to see her here raising that little boy of hers for a long long time.
