**Update:** Hi everyone! I reached my goal for $1,000. However, gofund me takes a percentage of whatever funds anyone donates. If I were to withdraw the full amount, I’d only receive $965 and it’s still short from the full amount needed to get me by to get certified. I’ve extended my campaign to help fund for equipment I need to get my business rolling right away, this includes, a massage table, towels, wooden tools, ultrasound gel, cream, and more. My name is Krystal Acevedo, I’m 24 and I’m a single mother. Like most of you, this pandemic has been very difficult for my son and I. We have been residing in a homeless shelter since May 5, 2020. For the last 7 months it has been extremely complicated for my son and I to find housing. I am unemployed and I am alone. Recently, I came across this Body Contouring course and found it could be a great opportunity for me to make additional income. The course comes with every basic tool needed to kick off my business. The course is $3,000. So far I have come up with $2,000 by pocketing every unemployment check and solely depending on food stamps. My course is next week and I need help coming up with the remainder, which is $1,000. I’ve asked family and friends and everyone has extended their help to me as much as they can so now I’m asking you guys. This is extremely difficult for me to put myself in a position like this but I’m only doing so because I’m desperate and in need.
