On September 18, 2022, I underwent an extremely complex open heart surgery, this was my 5th open heart surgery. I was in the hospital for 2 months under critical care, with kidney failure, and liver failure, followed by many weeks and months of very intensive recovery and physical therapy. I am so very grateful for all the love, prayers, and assistance I received then. It has been 8 months since the surgery. I continue to improve physically and emotionally. Between my hospital expenses; continuing medical bills (physical therapy and multiple specialists appointments); and my ability to work being limited, I find myself struggling financially. This is something I never thought I would need to do. I am again reaching out and asking for any assistance you can provide to me. Having the support of so many friends and family means so much more than you will ever know. I want to thank everyone who donated previously and ask for any help you can give now. Krystal September 2022- Krystal is about to undergo her 5th Open Heart Surgery. This surgery will involve replacing her Tricuspid valve and a conduit (artificial valve) that was placed in 2014. The surgery comes with all the normal heart surgery risks but her risks are increased by 10% due to all the stress and trauma her body has gone through with multiple surgeries and procedures over the past 43yrs. As many of you know Krystal has been on Social Security Disability since 2016, which has been a blessing for her, but her Income is very limited due to the rules of disability. We are hoping by creating this page you can donate to help her. Her bills will be high and she will be unable to work her part time job for a wile after surgery.
