Hey friends and family!
This September, I’ll be headed to Kona, Hawaii for a 6 month mission track program with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). I’ll be attending their Discipleship Training Program and the first 3 months will be spent learning in a classroom setting and preparing us for the mission field. The last 3 months will be spent ‘making Him known’ during an outreach phase where we will be putting what we’ve learned into practice while serving others abroad.
I’ve spent months praying and discerning and if you want to read more about how I came to this decision, I wrote a blog post about it, linked below! I’m so excited and expectant for the ways the Lord is going to grow me and use me to live out the great commission and I can’t wait to see all the ways He shows up!
As with any mission trip or program, there are funds that I will need to raise that will cover my food, housing, and travel to the mission field. As I prepare for these upcoming 6 months, I’m asking that you would prayerfully consider partnering with me in this next season in one or two ways:
Prayer: Aside from financial provisions, I’m asking for prayers for the safety of our team, especially when we enter the mission field in December 2019. I’d also love prayers for myself as I enter into this next season. I’m praying for a strengthening of my faith and being open to the ways He provides for this trip. And finally, prayers for the people we are going to serve. Pray for softened hearts that may be open to receive Him and that as missionaries we not only meet tangible needs for them, but meet a greater need that leads to salvation!
Giving: In total I need to raise $10,000 by September 2019. If it is in your heart to give, feel free to give as a one-time or monthly donation to help cover the costs for food, housing, and travel to the mission field! I truly appreciate every single donation as you take a step of faith to partner with me in this next season!
