Krystal Tarabochia-Sanborn Covid Medical Fund

Hello, my name is Paul Sanborn and I am starting this GoFundMe page to help my Brother Lee and Sister-in-law Krystal.

In Mid-August Krystal came down ill with symptoms relating to Covid-19, and went in to be tested. On Sunday, August 15, the test came back positive. A few days later on Wednesday, August 18, Krystal went into the emergency room finding it hard to breath.

Within a matter of hours Krystal was flown to a hospital in the twin cities in critical condition. Upon arriving she was put into a medically induced coma, intubated, and hooked up to an ICU ventilator machine to breath for her. But because of her location in the hospital, she was not able to have family with her.

Everyday Lee and family would use Zoom to video chat Krystal to encourage her to keep fighting and let her know that we were still there. Every day we all anxiously waited to hear news of her progress.

Finally on August 31 we received good news that Krystal was being brought out of the coma, and as of this writing, Krystal is starting to eat on her own. However, Krystal has a long road ahead of her, is still in critical condition, with months of recovery to get back to normal.

This GoFundMe page is being set up to help with medical and living expenses. Since Krystal has been in the hospital, neither her nor Lee have been able to work. Doctor bills are expected to arrive any day now in addition to their normal day-to-day expenses. Anything that you can donate to help ease this burden is greatly appreciated.
