Krystal is a hardworking, 30 y/o single mom who found her passion in the sky earlier this year. On 10/30/21, she had a skydiving accident that, depending on medical treatment, can greatly alter her future and quality of life.
She had a rough landing which resulted in four fractures of her left ankle involving the fibula, tibia, and syndesmosis joint. Without an emergent ORIF surgery (open reduction and internal fixation) involving plates and screws to stabilize her ankle, the bones will heal incorrectly and she would be left with constant pain in the ankle/leg.
As awful as that is, add to it the stress of the upfront costs of the surgery ($9500.00 which must be paid by 11/9/21 or the surgery cannot be done). As a single parent, Krystal does not have that kind of money sitting around and is at a total loss of what to do without help from friends/family. She has tried talking to financial departments of various surgery centers/hospitals, businesses that offer grants, applied for multiple credit cards, all while continuing to work from home - and no one is willing to work with her to get a payment plan set up or get these costs down. We would greatly appreciate any amount you are able to give.
