Krystal, Cheyenne, and Ella accident fundraiser

My name is Joshua Smith and I’m starting this fundraiser for my sister Krissi and nieces Ella and Cheyenne. They were in a horrible auto accident Tuesday night (August 24) outside of Harrisburg, MO and had to be life flighted to University Hospital in Columbia, MO. Ella has a broken collar bone and was released from the hospital. Cheyenne has a broken collar bone and a broken arm, and was transported to St Louis children’s hospital as she also had brain bleed. She was treated and thankfully is also being released from the hospital today (August 25). My sister had a broken pelvis, several cracked and broken ribs, punctured lung, severed finger, broken femur, broken knees, lacerated liver and spleen, and a broken ankle. She was in surgery for several hours yesterday but the doctors were able to stabilize her.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help with medical bills, travel, and food expenses for my family. Krissi has several more surgeries planned, and a long road to recovery ahead of her. It will likely be weeks before she is well enough to go home.

I am so grateful for the doctors, nurses, and staff that have and continue to work to make her comfortable and whole. Thank you Lord for being in the car with my sisters and nieces that night, I am so grateful they are all alive today.
