Krys Stultz Memorial Scholarship

Donation protected
We are raising money to develop a scholarship for a senior member of the First Colonial Wrestling Team to be given out every year, who displays a relentless work ethic, commitment to the team, and has an indomitable spirit.  (characteristics of former captain Krys Stultz, class of2006)

Krys wrestled for First Colonial from 2002-2006. He was never an All American,  All State, or even All Region wrestler for that matter. He tooks his lumps every year, starting with a freshman year that saw less than 10 wins. Sophmore year he amassed more victories, but with that came just as many defeats, finishing off the year with a less than .500 record. His junior year, all of his hardwork was beginning to pay off, he was winning matches convincingly, and ended up taking 6th in the Beach District (toughest district in the state I might add). His senior year, he was named captain of the team, and lead the team to a top 12 finish in the state that year. During the district tournament, Krys wrestled his way back to the consolation semifinals, where you have to win in order to advance to the regional tournament. It came down to 30 seconds left within the match with Krys down by 3 points and he needed 2 takedowns to keep his season alive. With 15 seconds left Krys shot his signature firemans carry to put his opponent on his back and sealing his fate of making the regional tournament.

I tell you this story because we are looking to give this scholarship to someone who has worked their butt off all four years of high school, given everything to the team, and stepped up when it counted the most.
