Wonderful wife, sister, aunt, daughter, nanny, animal lover & caregiver, punk rock priestess, fabulous friend to oh so many, and all around incredible human, Kathy Mullaney, has just been diagnosed (April 10) with advanced stage invasive ductal carcinoma, a type of breast cancer. The cancer has metastasized and spread to other parts of her body, including her spine, where at least one vertabre has been eroded. 

Doctors are still zeroing in on the cancer's progress and considering the different parts and phases of the treatment plan. Kathy is just finishing up radiation treatments, with surgery, and chemotherapy, being likely courses of action in the near future. She is in an incredible amount of pain right now. 

Kathy and her husband, Matt, are now beginning a new chapter they could not have imagined, just a few weeks ago.  They need our support. BIG TIME. Love, friendship, money, and whatever else we can give them, or help them with. Kathy is out of work indefinitely, and Matt takes off work as needed, to care for her, and get her to her many appointments. And of course, medical/health insurance only covers so much.
