John-Henry's Olympic Speedskating
Donation protected
John-Henry Krueger grew up skating in Western Pennsylvania. His parents supported his and his brother’s pursuit by finding the best coaching, often traveling up to 8 hours round-trip to make it possible to train and eventually seeking out international training and coaching. Krueger had a breakout performance at the 2012 World Junior Short Track Speed Skating Championships, winning silver in the 1500m super final, bronze in the 1500m, and bronze with the 3000m men’s relay team. Krueger was the only U.S. skater on the individual medal podium.
The swine flu foiled Krueger’s 2014 Olympic dreams, and he spent the next few years recovering and training for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. This year John-Henry qualified as the first member of the 2018 Men’s Olympic U.S. Speed Skating Short Track team. Please help send John-Henry and family--including parents Bryan and Heidi Kreuger--to represent the U.S. at the 2018 Winter Olympics!
