Hi everyone, I’m starting this fundraiser to help Matt and Kelly Fahrenkrug. On June 4th Kelly noticed imbalance issues. After several appointments and tests with no results Kelly went to the University of Iowa Emergency room because of drooping on the left side of her face. She was also experiencing weakness in her left arm and leg. A brain biopsy finally aided in the diagnosis of stage 4 Glioblstoma in August. Kelly’s treatment plan is 34 days of radiation Monday through Friday. She is also on a form of chemotherapy. Kelly is experiencing extreme vision loss among other side effects of the tumors. They drive from Dewitt to Iowa City for these treatments. Kelly is in a wheelchair and requires full time care from Matt and her family. Matt is currently on leave from work unpaid while providing her care. Please if you can help in any way we would greatly appreciate it. It’s not easy for either of them to ask for help but it is critical at this point. We also welcome any prayers for their family.
