Kru ledger

Wednesday  morning around 10a.m Kru became very upset and fussy. He was only not screaming his poor little head off if he was being held completely still in the perfect position he wanted. Early Thursday morning at 3 a.m he had a fever of 103 so we took him to the ER in Eldorado. They are far from baby specialist but they did awesome and started us in the best direction! Very thankful for them in Eldorado! From eldorado we were transported by an ambulance to Community in San Angelo. The nurses and doctors immediately started blood test, a urinary catheter, a lumbar puncture, and IV’s. It is heart breaking to have to see your baby boy, only 5 weeks old have all that done to him.. But we are beyond thankful for everything the nurses and doctors did at community. After being at community a few hours around 10a.m we made the decision to fly him to Cooks Children’s hospital here in Fort Worth.
Kru is now in ICU here at Cooks where they are monitoring him around the clock and giving him plenty of antibiotics and fluids. We will be here at Cooks for 3 weeks. 
With all of that being said, Kru has bacterial meningitis but we are still waiting on the labs to know what types of bacterial meningitis. Hopefully not a contagious bacterial meningitis, we should know that sometime in the next day or two.
We ask for all of the love and prayers that y’all can give our family and our precious baby boy Kru. He’s been a very tough little guy!
