YWAM Kona - Discipleship Training School

Hi! My name is Yesenia, and I am SO excited to be able to tell you about a fantastic opportunity I have coming up. I've been accepted to the Discipleship Training School (DTS) at Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in Kona, Hawaii. DTS is a 6-month training program that is split into two parts. In the first three months, you learn more about God and can draw closer to Him with fewer distractions while training to be a missionary. Then, in the last three months, you are sent out to a foreign country so that you're able to put into practice what you've learned and share the gospel with many people who might not even know Jesus' name. I'll be leaving on January 5th and coming back in early June. It is a long time, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I'm excited to be able to spend half a year focusing on Jesus and obeying His command to share the gospel, and I believe this is something that God is calling me to do right now.

I wanted to ask you, my friends and family, for support. Not only through money but also- and especially, through prayer. I know that God is my provider, and if it is truly His will for me to go, then He will provide the funds for my trip. Thank you in advance for any way that you're able to support me.
