Birmingham Half Marathon
On the 7th May I will be running (attempting) the Birmingham Half Marathon.
As many of you will already know, my lovely mum was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in May last year. After months of chemo, she had a full mastectomy and lymph node removal at the start of the year, which unfortunately didn't go quite to plan. She is now completing another 14 rounds of chemo and some radiotherapy to hopefully get the all-clear!
I signed up for the Birmingham Half Marathon a few weeks ago, and have decided to do it for this charity as I know cancer affects a lot of families and this is close to a lot of hearts. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will make a huge difference.
Thank you!
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Cancer Research UK and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause which means so much to me.
