Help the search for Dinesh and Chakri
Accidents are unforeseen and bring immense distress to families who get affected by them. Recently something terrible happened to Chakradharan Tirumala (34) and Dinesh Mereddy (35) who were last seen swimming in Lake Travis Austin, TX until they got swept away by the strong undercurrents and disappeared on the 28th of August as their wives Maunica Kunjapur and Harika Tirumala witnessed this horrific site in complete shock and awe.
Chakradharan Tirumala fondly called as Chakri by family and friends had family visiting him, his sister Harika and Brother-In-Law, Dinesh with their one-year-old kid from Baltimore, MD. On Saturday, August 28, around 5pm, they decided to rent a boat on Lake Travis to spend some family time. Little did they know that they were going to be taken by disbelief as Dinesh and Chakri who were experienced swimmers had overpowered them and they have been missing since then. All this panned out in a flash, and the most unfortunate part of it is, this incident happened in front of their family who are now in an extreme sense of shock and helplessness, experiencing trauma and sorrow.
The authorities were called immediately, and search efforts by County first responders as well as private divers, drones, choppers, and volunteers have been in place every day since then but have not yielded any results yet. Harika and Maunica are still unable to come to terms with all that has happened in front of their eyes but are hopeful that they will find their loved ones. We hope so too, and in order to keep that hope alive, we seek support from you all to help this family in this rescue effort.
