Krome Kitties AAPlace for Dogs Fundraiser

The Krome Kitty Motorcycle club (KKMC), Wichita's longest running all women motorcycle club, believes that riding is the spice of life but supporting each other and the community is the backbone of the club. For the last 19 years KKMC has developed an environment that encourages its members to engage in philanthropic activities. Sometimes those activities are behind the scenes and sometimes the women are the face of the effort. Regardless of the event, organization, or season, each year the Krome Kitty Motorcycle club chooses a non-profit organization to support. This year, the club has decided to support and fundraise for the local non-profit, "AA Place for Dogs".

AA Place for Dogs is an organization that provides, "Dog fostering for alcoholics and addicts seeking treatment." The agencies mission is, "Often, a significant barrier for addicts entering rehab is the cost and perceived unavailability of quality care for their four-legged companions. 'AA' Place for Dogs will assist addicts by easing the burden and fear of entering rehab and leaving their valued four-legged family members. We offer support for the care of that animal while the owner is in rehab."
