We have a very special little girl in our care whose family require support at the most heartbreaking and challenging time in their lives. A time that no one should ever have to encounter....

A little note from Gabrielle (mum of Azelie and wife to Adam):

"Our beautiful little family is facing something no one should, the quiet heartbreak of saying goodbye far too soon. Adam is a 25 year old, devoted husband, a loving dad, and the kind of person who always put his family first. He has been battling glioblastoma (GBM), an incredibly aggressive and incurable brain cancer, with unimaginable strength and grace. This is Adam’s third and final recurrence. After 24 months of surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and more courage than most of us will ever need to show, his body is now in its final stages. He is no longer awake, and we’ve been told we only have hours to days left. When Adam was first diagnosed, our daughter Azelie was just 9 months old. Since then, she’s known her daddy mostly in hospital rooms, with symptom after symptom, quiet smiles, and gentle cuddles. Adam endured three major brain surgeries, and suffered a debilitating stroke after his last operation that left him with right-side paralysis, seizures, and immense pain. Yet through it all, he never stopped showing up with love; even when his body couldn’t.

Today, Azélie is 2.5 years old and a bright, joyful, cheeky, curious little girl and about to lose her dad, forever. This is not the life we imagined. And as we stand beside him in his final days, I also look ahead at the life our daughter will be raised through — one filled with love, but forever shaped by the absence of the man who was meant to grow old with us. We are deeply grateful to anyone who has held us in their hearts during this time.
