Dear Family and Friends,
These past two years attending Florida State University have been some of the most crucial years of my life. I have learned so much about who I am becoming and the life I am wanting to pursue. College has not only been fundamental for my individual growth, but for my spiritual growth as well. God has proven His faithfulness to me more times than I can count since I have been in college, and now he has blessed me with the opportunity to be a part of Smoky Mountain Summer, an intensive discipleship program, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I have been chosen to attend this training program, along with 100 other students, in which I will be working at Dollywood while being challenged to grow in my faith through in-depth Bible studies, one-on-one discipleship, and sharing my faith with the people around me.
I will be attending this program with several other students from the campus ministry I am a part of, The Navigators. The whole purpose of this ministry is to emphasize knowing Christ and to make Him known. I have grown exponentially through The Navigators by being discipled by an older college student, attending worship nights, retreats, and participating in weekly bible studies.
The cost of the program is $2,800, which covers housing, majority of meals, weekly outings, administrative fees, and program materials. My desire is that you prayerfully consider investing in my personal growth and development this summer by being one of my financial donors.
I entirely understand if you feel you are not able to support me financially. However, I do hope you will consider joining me in prayer for God to provide so I am able to attend this program. If I am blessed with being fully funded, I will be arriving in Pigeon Forge on May 29th.
