Kristyn’s Fight against spinal tumor

My daughter Kristyn Pelicot is diagnosed with a low grade astrocytoma (spinal cord tumor) on June 30, 2021. Before her diagnosis, she began having back pain which progressed to having difficulty walking and resorted to using a cane.
On July 14, 2021 she underwent surgery to remove the tumor. Due to the tumor being attached to her nerves, the doctors were only able to remove 20% . Had they removed the tumor in it’s entirety she would have been paralyzed. In the coming weeks, she will need a series of radiation and possibly chemotherapy to stop the tumor from growing.
She is currently in a rehabilitation center for several weeks for her recovery, to learn to walk again so she can be strong enough for her treatment.
This situation has blindsided our family as we never saw it coming. We are hopeful for her health and recovery. Kristyn is a strong young woman and has been totally positive throughout this time. We put our trust in her Oncology team for a good outcome and more importantly God .
We kindly ask for your donation no matter the size towards Kristyn’s fight against her spinal tumor to cover medical treatment.
