Kristyn DeGiovine -“Our Warrior”

Kristyn was first diagnosed with breast cancer right after Christmas of 2017. The next four years were full of either surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, anti-hormonal IV treatments, or follow up screenings.

She never has had the chance to feel a true victory.

Through it all, a brave warrior who stood strong for the family and friends who loved her, especially to assure her 5 young children that she was there for them no matter what.

Unfortunately, Kristyn’s cancer is back. She is currently undergoing a round of scans, tests, and biopsies. We probably won’t know the treatment plan till early March. Since there are new therapies and perhaps even clinical trials available, some things might not be covered by insurance.

We hope that we can build a nest egg for Kristyn and her family, so that they are not put in any kind of financial distress through the coming months.
