Kristy Zakhar-Roberts of Chesterton, Indiana, formerly of Blue Island, Illinois, passed from this life on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the age of 44 after a cancer diagnosis.

Kristy is the beloved wife of Michael and the treasured mother of Molly, Michael and Vincent. Kristy's world revolved around her family, she was the true matriarch, putting the needs of her family first.

Kristy was completely involved in all aspects of her children's lives and earned the title of "Super Sports Mom!" She believed in the power of education and the importance of team sports. Her children's biggest cheerleader, it was important to Kristy that all three of her children try new things and pursue things they loved.

This memorial fund will support Molly, Michael, and Vincent in their education and athletic endeavors. Any amount will be appreciated.
