Kristopher Jordan Gipson was born to Kenyatta Yarn on May 20, 2021. He spent 31 days in NICU after birth and has been admitted to the hospital many times, since. From birth, Kristopher has been diagnosed with an array of physiological and developmental disorders which he has been persistently fighting. As a single mother, Kenyatta has worked full time and spent multiple days and nights in multiple hospitals, tirelessly working with doctors to come up with a plan of action to find a cure for Kristopher. On May 16,2022 Kristopher was admitted to Kaiser Medical Center of Santa Clara for acute hypoxemic respiratory failure and gastroparesis. While baby Kristopher has conquered many hospital visits battling cerebral palsy , respiratory issues, Pneumonia, seizures, Ketogenic diet trials, and COVID-19, this most recent hospital visit has been extremely difficult. Since May 16,2022 Kristopher remained in the pediatric intensive care unit and his diagnoses unfortunately failed to improve. On June 22, 2022, baby Kristopher transitioned and went home to be with the Lord. While the family never imagined Kristopher’s life would be so short, they were unprepared emotionally and financially to cope with this disheartening reality. We are asking that you find it in your heart to donate whatever amount you can to help us lay baby Kristopher to rest. Baby Kristopher fought many battles and although this is heart wrenching and indescribable, we would like to honor and celebrate the life of Kristopher Jordan Gipson in the way that he deserves.
If you feel more inclined to donate via zelle, please send donations to Yarn.Kenyatta (@gmail.com)
