It is with unimaginable sorrow that I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of my beloved brother, Kristopher Prasad—affectionately known to many as “Gucci.” This is one of the hardest moments our family has ever faced. Yesterday, we received the devastating phone call no parent, grandparent, sibling, or loved one ever wants to hear.

Kristopher was just days away from his 29th birthday on June 16th. It breaks our hearts that he didn’t get to celebrate that milestone with us. His time with us was far too short, but the impact he made on our lives will last forever. Kris was a son, a brother, a grandson, a friend—and he will always be remembered for the light, laughter, and love he brought into our lives.

Please keep our parents in your thoughts. They are enduring the unimaginable pain of losing their only son. For those who have reached out asking how they can help, we are humbly accepting donations to assist with funeral arrangements and to support our family during this incredibly difficult time. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Park Place Funeral Home Chapel & Crematorium Ltd -located on 51 Broadway Blvd, Sherwood Park, AB T8H 2C1- from 10am to 12pm.

Rest in peace, my dear brother. You are deeply loved, profoundly missed, and will never be forgotten.
