My name is Chris Wilson and I am setting this gofundme account up for my friend and colleague, Kristi Christensen. Kristi has been apart of my work family for over six months now as the Territory Business Manager in the Fort Worth, TX territory for our Immune Deficiency Sales Team. I had the pleasure of helping bring Kristi into our organization and have known she and her husband, Lennard, since our professional careers began in 2003 with Eli Lilly. Both she and Lennard have always personified strength, integrity, and responsibility to their friends and loved ones that inspires us all to follow their path.
Some of you may be aware about the heartbreaking news that Kristi was very recently diagnosed with breast cancer. With that, Kristi begins an aggressive treatment timeline starting on June 21st at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth, TX where she will undergo a double mastectomy procedure followed by a rapid and rigorous treatment regimen that will palce her on the road to recovery.
The funds we raise here will help support Kristi and her beautiful family on that road to the finish line. That finish line WILL come soon as we will all be there to pick her up along the way. These funds will help with the Christensen's current and future medical expenses that will accumulate through this rapid process.
Kristi is an amazingly intelligent, positive, and uplifting person. She is an even better mother and wife. Kristi is a giver and I have seen first hand how her selflessness has lended towards the success, time, and counsel she offers the patients she serves in the medical community. It's Kristi's time to feel that same level of love and support during this time of adversity. We can all help her and her amazing family by reducing the financial stress that this awful disease inflicts and the stress that it comes with.
