Kristin's Fearless Fight

Kristin (Long) Tupe was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2020. She courageously underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation therapy this past year, and was looking forward to putting this battle in the rear view.

 

Kristin decided to undergo a hysterectomy in October with the hopes of decreasing any disease recurrence. The surgical pathology and further work-up unfortunately showed that the cancer had spread and is no longer considered curable. As a result, treatment is focused on symptom management and she will soon begin a clinical trial.

 

Kristin is a mother of three, a wife, sister, a daughter and a friend. More than anything, though, Kristin is an extraordinary human being. She is the most cheerful, loving, and unbelievably strong person I’ve ever known. She always puts her family and friends before herself.

 

Now it’s time to give some of that love back to Kristin, Kiva, Vivian, Troy, and Roman. They deserve to focus on each other, live in the present and make the most of the time they have.

 

Let’s take some of the daily stress off of this amazing family and help them through this incredibly difficult time. We’d love to help cover some of Kristin’s medical expenses and childcare, and even send them on an epic family vacation so they can make some priceless memories.
