If you have ever had the opportunity to meet Kris, you are one hell of a lucky person.
Kris is the strongest and bravest woman that I know. This is something that I truly and honestly believe and for anyone that knows her, they would have to agree. She brightens the day with a simple hello and is kind to every being in this world. Her talents are beyond what another can even try to create and her love of being a wife (Chris) and mother to 4 amazing kids (Andrea, Emily, Charlie, and Hank) is her life and her entire world.
Kris had the terrible misfortune of being diagnosed with Crohn's Disease many years ago in her late teenage years. She has suffered through countless surgeries that have affected her body in horrific ways. While many have watched and known of these health conditions that have had Kris sick and in pain, any regular person on the street many never have known because she smiles and keeps going without a complaint. She is truly a "Wonder Woman".
I have never met a more committed person in my life.
Kris takes care of her multiply disabled child Andrea every day. She requires feeding, changing, bathing, and loving...Kris never complains.
Kris has been working with behavioral children in special education for most of her adult life, teaching, guiding, helping....never complains.
Kris works creating beautiful floral masterpieces, meeting deadlines, pushing through long hours to make others happy....never complains.
And when all is said and done she goes home and takes care of her family in her sometimes sick condition to make dinner, clean up around the house, and spend time with her loved ones.....(she may complain about some of that...)
At the moment, Kris is fighting for her life after a recent surgery has left her in the ICU on a ventilator. She can really use all of your positive thoughts and prayers for a recovery.
Kris, you light up our lives in so many ways. You are loved by everyone you meet. You are beautiful and talented and strong. You are an incredible wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. Healthier days are ahead for you.
Please help us raise some money. There will be bills to pay and days of work missed. Let us take this burden and help with some of the finances that come with hospital stays and time off work.
Please help any way you can.
Thank you
