Let me begin by sending a huge thank you to everyone who supported my campaign in 2017!  Thanks to you, I was able to travel to Ottawa to represent the USA on the Women's Junior All American squad at the Can-Am series.  I was honored to start both games, and it was a tremendous learning experience!

Now I have been selected to the USA Rugby Collegiate All-American 15s pool for 2018.  The training and selection camp is this June in New Hampshire.  That’s next month!  I am so excited for this new opportunity and level of competition, but I need your help.

 The national funding levels mean I have to get to New Hampshire on my own; I am budgeting $500 for round trip airfare. I also need to contribute to hotel expenses, and healthy meals – another $550.  I also need a bit more for incidentals and the unexpected.  There is money left over from the 2017 campaign, so I don’t need all the funds for this year to make this campaign successful.  I am a scholarship student at Saint Mary's College of California and have been working continuously to contribute to my education; I just don't have spare money for this opportunity.

I would be so grateful if you could help me on my track to become a USA Eagle, playing internationally for my country, and then on to my goal of professional rugby! Rugby has offered me more than I ever would have thought: self-confidence, the opportunity to travel, and friends I'll have for a lifetime. I want to push myself and compete internationally for my country. I want other young women to know that all things are possible with hard work and good friends.
