Kristina’s Cancer Fight
Donation protected
My mom was diagnosed with uterine cancer in November 2022. Since diagnosis she has undergone 28 radiation treatments along with 6 chemotherapy treatments. They were trying to shrink the tumor enough for surgery. The next phase of treatment is high dose chemotherapy once every 21 days starting February 16th. Dealing with cancer and the side effects of treatments is horrible but, the idea of losing her hair is devastating. She has decided to try Cold Cap Therapy and my dad will be her cold capper. Cold caps are worn during chemo and after treatment for a few hours in hopes of freezing and preserving the hair follicle. (Lots of videos on YouTube) Although she has great insurance, there are additional items and copays that her health insurance does not cover including cold caps. If you can help, that’s awesome - if not, just send some positive vibes her way. Thank you for reading and well wishes.
