Kristina's Bone Marrow Transplant
My best friend Kristina from back home has been diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma Cancer stage 4 in February 2021. She has been there for me for my entire life and now it's my turn.
She has already been through a few painful chemotherapy sessions and her last one was delayed because she contracted coronavirus. The delay gave cancer extra time to spread through her body. Now she has to undergo a stronger chemotherapy and eventually - a bone marrow transplant. So far, her family has managed financially, but now they need USD60,000 which is a huge amount for anyone, especially in Kazakhstan where the minimum wage per month is USD100. Her family makes more than a minimum wage, but it's still an impossible amount to gather within a few months. She will greatly appreciate any support and so will I.
