You may have heard this past May, 2020 Kristin was diagnosed with breast cancer. You can only imagine how shocked Kristin was when she heard this news. As we all know Kristin is one of the healthiest people we know, How could this happen to such a kind hearted, loving, healthy person.
Her journey over the past 8 months has been under close care of her doctors on trying to block the cells from developing further and try to reduce the tumor. In addition to this she and Rich have been educating themselves on what alternative natural ways could help rid her body from the cancer.
On December 7th Kristin had her MRI to see the progress of her treatment. While the good news came that the tumor had not grown, there was no change to her progress. This was not the news they had anticipated and was very discouraging. The next step was to discuss a more aggressive treatment which may include chemotherapy. This past week Kristin and Rich have reached out to various doctors and are hopeful that the team will be able to start treating her tumor soon.
As you all know Kristin is a self employed jewelry artist and also works on expedition cruises as a guide. With the impact of COVID-19, her work in the travel industry has come to a standstill and she is unable to attend Art Events to sell her jewelry as most of them have been cancelled.
As Kristin will be moving to the next step of treatment, her main focus will be recovery and healing. With unexpected medical bills and expenses we hope you can help Kristin at this time.
Thank you all for your kindness and support.
