Kristin has been battling unspecific symptoms for about a year and has finally gotten a diagnosis: a rare autonomic disease called Neuro mylelitis Optica or NMO.   NMO is literally a one in a million diagnosis,  Kristin has been hospitalization several times in the last couple of months as her relapses have come faster and faster and the effects are devastating. She is no longer able to work or even walk at this point.  The stem cell transplant needed to slow or maybe even stop the progression of this disease is estimated to be $100,000.  With the rapid progression of this disease of Kristin's symptoms, this treatment is desperately needed. Kristin has given so much to all those around her as a mother of two young girls, physical therapist and mentor to so many. She is generous with her time, skills and kindness to all those around her.  Now despite her dislike of asking for help she needs us.
