Kristin Shelton Court - St Pius the Tenth School

The past year has included many tremendous moments from every part of our school community.  One of the highlights was the honoring of Kristin Shelton by naming the gymnasium basketball/volleyball court after her.  It was certainly a powerful and special moment for our community to honor Kristin, who has had an incredible impact in her FIRST 20 years at St. Pius the Tenth Catholic School.  As a part of this honor, we are having her name permanently inscribed on the court.  This comes at a perfect time as the court is due for a complete resurfacing and makeover.  This is an undertaking that has not been done since the gym was built over 20 years ago.  In addition to Coach Shelton’s name being added, the court will be stripped of all the existing paint and all the logos and scripting will be updated to current branding.  It will certainly be an awesome upgrade to our campus!  In hopes to defray the cost to the school and to allow for any who feel moved to help honor Coach Shelton, we are kicking off a fundraising campaign.  While we do not know the exact cost of the project, we are setting a goal of $20,000.  Any money that is left over following the completion of the floor will help with other upgrades to the gym in the near future to further enhance the student/visitor experience and the overall security of our stand alone gym, the Connelly Athletic Center.  Thank you for your consideration and please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions!
