Kristin Schleiter Memorial Bench

Kristin Schleiter was vibrant, intelligent, had a keen sense of humor and a love of life. She deeply appreciated natural beauty and had a passion for gardens. Kristin’s life was cut short by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She is survived by her daughters, Greta and Katrin Degner, her sister Laura Brune, and her father, Richard Schleiter. She was a graduate of Cornell University and a former Associate Vice President of Outdoor Gardens and Senior Curator at the New York Botanical Gardens.
