Hi! My name is Lara Helfrich and I have had the privilege of being friends with Kristin Kliewer since we were 18 years old. My dear friend Kristin and her husband David need our help. Kristin was diagnosed with stage IIIC colon cancer approximately 4 weeks ago. She has an area being evaluated on her liver which, if malignant, would classify her cancer as Stage 4. She has a hard battle ahead.

Kristin has already had emergency surgery to remove a baseball-sized tumor, portions of her colon, multiple malignant lymph nodes, and her appendix. She will begin a long regimen of chemotherapy this week.

We know that God has Kristin in the palm of His Hand. In addition to praying for the entire Kliewer family during this journey, please consider helping to ease their financial stress while Kristin is off work from her job at Newton Public Library. The proceeds of this fundraiser will be used for medical expenses and living expenses during treatment.
