Kristin fights Glioblastoma!

Hi, I'm Kayla. I'm starting this fundraiser for my sister, Kristin.

No one is ever expecting sudden, life altering news... everyone knows horrible and unfortunate things happen, but don't anticipate they will happen to themselves or their loved ones. I was one of those people until recently.

On 03/09, an otherwise uneventful Saturday, I got a call my sister was in an urgent care. She was having mainly mild headaches recently and a CT was done showing an abnormal finding on her brain. 3 hours later she was in ICU at TGH. 3 days later she was having brain surgery... Now 2 weeks later she is at the start of fighting a rare brain cancer, Glioblastoma. Her statistical prognosis is poor, but her fight is so so strong.

My sister is 39 years old. Otherwise healthy. A happy wife and mother to a 12 year old boy.

This fundraiser is to help sustain her family through this unexpected time. It is also to hopefully help her enjoy her time in the moments she can during this literal fight of her life.
