Kristin and Andy Support

On Thursday morning while headed to work on his motorcycle, Andy was involved in a horrible accident. At that moment, he began fighting for his life. His wife, Kristin, wouldn’t be located and notified for another 2 hours. By the time she arrived at the hospital, Andy was already undergoing his first surgery to repair a torn aorta. An injury that should have killed him before he even arrived at the hospital.

Each moment from then has been an up and down roller coaster. Each day, good news and bad news is received. But every second, God has been by their side. Those who love and care have covered them in prayers.

Andy is still fighting for his life. His brain is swollen, he has to many broken bones to list, his lungs and kidneys are not fully functioning, and his blood pressure is hard to regulate. The extent of damage is not known. The family is taking it hour by hour each day. The days and weeks ahead are going to be long and hard. The last thing we want Kristin worried about is finances. Insurance can be tricky and slow. Then there are other financial hoops to jump through that could take months to resolve. But in the meantime, we can do a small part to relieve a burden that she shouldn’t have to carry right now. We can carry that small burden for her.

Even more importantly, we can PRAY for Andy. Pray for a miracle. Pray for Kristin and the hard days she will have to face. Pray for his little girl. We know God has the power to heal. And we know that whatever the outcome, God is faithful. We are trusting Him.
