KRISTIES BRAIN BRIGADE

On March 25, 2021 Kristies battle began. For a few days prior Kristie was experiencing some headaches and general malaise, being the strong woman she is tried to push through and manage with regular migrane pain medication. It wasn't until a phone call to check on her led close friends/family to believe that something just wasn't right. She was brought to the hospital for testing, that is when the mass was found in her brain. Surgery was done promptly and a diagnosis was made of Glioblastoma IV which is the most aggressive of primary tumors of the brain for which no cure is available. One tumor was able to be removed and the other tumor is inoperable. Radiation/Chemo was started and our warrior finished her first round on June 10th. Anyone that knows Kristie knows just how strong she is. ALWAYS has a positive attitude, loves to send meme's and GIF's and make everyone laugh and smile. Kristie now needs our support more than anything to keep her amazing spirit up. She has had some major setbacks and side effects from treatment but even that hasn't proven to stall her fight. Her work family along with her family would love to continue the support for her and help with the medical bills, along with everyday living expenses and continuing treatment to keep her comfortable. Anything helps even just sharing, everyone needs to know just how special this AMAZING mother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend, and co-worker really is.
