Hello- I am reaching out on behalf of my brother, Kristian Baena. Kristian is a devoted husband and father to two pre-teen sons. He is a talented, hardworking self-employed provider who will be having urological surgery WEDNESDAY (8/27). Kristian does not have insurance, so this unexpected health issue is going to cause quite a financial challenge for their family. As someone who is self-employed, he does not have access to paid time off or disability during his recovery. The burden of medical bills, household expenses, and lost income is dire.

The surgery is extensive and has the potential for an extended recovery period. The doctor’s office has given him a self-pay price which requires a substantial amount up front and the opportunity to finance the rest. There will be additional bills for the anesthesiologist and hospital stay. Due to the nature of this surgery, he will be out of work in order to recover.

Your support will go directly toward covering surgery-related costs, medical expenses, and essential living needs while Kristian focuses on healing and returning to his role as the rock of his family.
