Kristi & Kevin Geraghty -Breast Cancer Fight

In August, right around her 46th birthday my sister in law, Kristi was diagnosed with breast cancer.  So far, she has already had two surgeries and will need to go through a course of radiation treatment.  For those of us that love them, it's so hard to see them going through this.  Kristi's prognosis is good, but dealing with recovering from extensive surgery and  4 weeks of radiation still ahead is daunting.  Both she and Kevin will need to continue to miss additional work to get through the next steps.   We have tried to think of ways to help them that is meaningful beyond offering love and support.  

The stress and fear is tough enough with a cancer diagnosis, but as the medical bills start to come in, that's an additional mental toll that I imagine will be overwhelming.   I'd like to see if we can help them be able to focus on getting Kristi healthy.   When people have worked hard their whole lives, it's terrible to see financial stress come from an illness like this and set them back.   The goal is to help ease the burden and offer support.  This is never easy-they are two of the last people that would ever ask for help of any kind, but it's part of why we want to help them now.
