Hello, I'm Kristen and I am a child of God, Wife, and Mother. I am in need of some help, even small donations will help drastically. I am a Home Health Nurse meaning I drive a lot! On Friday, June 13th around 330pm I was stopped in my big blue jeep behind a line of cars on maize road by Popeyes. Out of no where I feel extreme force hit me. My glasses go flying off as my head/face hit the steering wheel. I was completely thrown around even though I was wearing my seatbelt. No airbags deployed so my head and neck were injured pretty severely. My seat was forced sideways and I was hysterical- so I've been told as I don't have full memories of the event. Apparently I was puking and barely moving when I was put in the ambulance for assessments. I know I got ahold of Jon and he rushed over. He took me to the ER. They treated me for facial pain, back pain, and severe concussion. After about a week I had no relief. I went back to the ER for more testing and to figure out a new pain management plan. During all this time while I'm dealing with severe pain and mental fog I have been working full time. I have struggled every single day and suffer from horrible pain in both my head and neck/back area. I am trying my best working but what usually takes me 30 min or so is now taking an hour +. I completed PT, no relief with exercises but it got slightly better for a few hours after an a-stem treatment. I saw a back specialist and completed a cervical MRI which revealed some sort of narrowing of the nerve root. I am now seeing a pain Dr for trigger point injections and a cervical nerve root injection. Here is where I need help. I have maxed out my PIP and unfortunately the surrounding pain drs don't take my insurance or don't do cervical injections. So the cost is coming out of my pocket. We are having some issues due to all the medical bills. I feel like I am drowning a bit. I am praying that these injections work and I won't have to go to surgery but that is the next step. I had my trigger point injections (8 shots total) on Friday 10/17/25 and I get the cervical injection on 10/27/25. I have to pay out of pocket for both which in total is approximately $2400. I do not like asking for help. I sit here typing this through tears. I always put a smile on my face and push through the pain, both physically and mentally. I can't do that right now. I am asking for help. Prayers are extremely welcome! I also don't really know how to work a GoFundMe - I don't know why it is putting donation suggestions of 300-500 bucks. I will be grateful for $1.
