Hi everyone, this is Rebeca Cierniak, and I’m sharing this on behalf of my dear friend Kristen. Many of you know her as a loving, hard-working single mom whose faith shines in everything she does.

Recently, Kristen received news that no one ever wants to hear — doctors found a meningioma, which is a tumor that forms on the lining around the brain. Hers is about the size of a walnut. While we’re so thankful it’s not showing signs of being cancerous, it is sitting very close to the main artery that supplies blood between her brain and heart, making it a serious and delicate situation.

Kristen will be undergoing two brain surgeries in the coming weeks. As she faces this challenge, she will need time away from work to heal and recover. We’re creating this GoFundMe to help relieve some of the financial burdens of medical expenses, lost income, and caring for her son during this time.

Through it all, Kristen is standing firm in her faith—trusting in Jesus, her miracle worker and healer—and we are believing alongside her for full restoration and strength.
