Kristen’s Crusaders

On 10/23/22, Kristen was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer that spread to her liver and lungs. She will be undergoing six months of chemotherapy with possible surgery and radiation down the road. Kristen has spent the last nine months in a job she loves as a social worker working alongside law enforcement. She is the kindest, most loving and giving human. She went full time in her job in October, though her new health insurance didn’t start until 11/1/22. Her ER visit, four day hospital stay, CT scans, ultrasound, biopsy and so many labs all happened nine days short of her insurance kicking in.

Kristen plans to continue to work from home as she’s able, mostly because she loves her job and wants to keep some sense of normalcy during this incredibly difficult time. We are hoping to raise money for uncovered medical expenses and to provide a cushion for future unknowns. Every dollar will help!
