Kristens Cancer-Kicking Campaign

Just over 6 months ago, my sister Kristen began her battle against Stage 4, Type B Hodgkin's Lymphoma. She completed 6 grueling months of chemotherapy, and then we waited. It was supposed to be two months until they would do the PET scan that would hopefully reveal she was cancer free. Instead, within a month, the cancer had visibly returned, and initial testing has shown as much metabolically active growth as before she began the treatment. While this is definitely not the news we were anticipating, we are not without hope. Her Mayo Clinic medical team in Mankato and Rochester, MN, are currently in the process of formulating a plan.
