We were recently devastated to learn of the sudden shocking death of Kristen Halligan-Heckman, wife to our dear friend and Juniper colleague, Scott Heckman, and mother to their young son Vaughn.

Kristen fell ill suddenly Friday, January 17th and was soon hospitalized in a battle for her life. On Thursday, the 26th, she suffered complete organ failure and death. Kristen was a strong, loving daughter. A wonderful mother who joyfully cherished their young son Vaughn. And a beautiful wife, treasured by Scott. We are all in stunned disbelief at this untimely tragedy.

We stand united in mourning the enormous loss to Scott and family. This memorial fund is going directly to Scott for some small easement of memorial arrangements and for the blessed care of their son, Vaughn.
