Kristen's Medical Expenses

In April, my young niece, Kristen, will be undergoing medical tests at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL.  Her medical issue began in middle school.  As her health declined over the past few years, her family healthcare provider referred her to a neurologist.  After many visits to the neurologist and numerous tests, he has referred her to the Clinic in Jacksonville for autonomic neuropathy.

Kristen has had her life plans and goals put on hold while she seeks medical care of her condition.  She was enrolled as a college freshman when she realized her health was not going to allow her to attend and had to withdraw.  (Her ultimate educational goal is a degree in Sports Broadcasting from Mississippi State University.  Kristen is a huge sports fan.)  She is hopeful to be able to get back to pursuing this goal soon.  (Not only is she unable to attend college right now, she is unable to work causing her much angst.)

As a Christian, Kristen knows from where the source of healing comes.  However, she also acknowledges that God gifts our doctors to assist with illnesses.  

Kristen's family has had other struggles in the past couple months that have made this trip to Jacksonville a little more difficult.  And because of this, as her aunt, I decided to start this fund to ask your help to assist her family with travel expense to and from Jacksonville, to help with lodging while she undergoes the tests and treatments, and last but most importantly, to provide financial help to cover the deductible and other costs not fully covered by her insurance.

Any financial help given is sincerely appreciated, and your prayers for answers and available treatments are coveted.
