We all know someone who has fought and dealt with cancer.  The mental struggles each and every day they are going through are overwhelming.  Constantly wondering "Am I doing the right thing going through the chemo?" or "Can my body just fight this off naturally and I'll pretend nothing's wrong?"  What makes it even worse is what's in the back of their mind worrying about the financial burden that this evil sentence has put upon them.  The assistance you apply for is asking you to hang on for 6 months and then we'll give you enough money to buy a roll of duct tape and 2 loaves of bread.  "Forget it!  I can do this on my own..."  I disagree!!!!  My best friend in the world was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer!  This beautiful soul all her life has put everyone else's problems ahead of her own and did everything in her power to help anyone who never asked for it.  Please join me and help lighten the financial burden that does not need to be right now, as Kris fights with everything inside herself to continue to be the tremendous human being she was born and raised as, and to be there for her amazing 2 kids.
