Kristen has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. She just underwent surgery and has begun Chemotherapy. Kristen is a lifelong friend . Though time and distance get in the way she is the kind of friend where you can call her and pick up right where you left off..... the real friend that is always there no matter what. A true gem. Kristen has done so much to help others and teaches her daughter Emily to always be giving and kind. One of her recent endeavors was collecting backpacks filled with essentials and delivering them to homeless in the Cleveland area. Kristen is going to fight like hell and will overcome her illness as she faces six months of chemotherapy. One of her main concerns is being able to work through the illness. Kristen is faithful to her job and has worked with the same law firm for over 25 years. She is determined to work through her illness but has recently realized this may not be possible.  Her health insurance pays 80% of costs leaving her with 20% remaining.  As we all know this can add up fast to create a huge debt. As a single mother, Kristen is determined to not allow her illness to harbor Emily from being able to do the things that young teens do. It is important to her that Emily be able to continue working with horses, learning to drive and just be a kid. Please consider assisting her with this tremendous burden. No amount is too little to relieve her burden and allow her to focus on getting well and kicking cancers butt.
